Gem!
Some of the best Korean food I've had
The man behind the counter couldn't have been nicer. Excellent food!
Great, especially their No. 11
First time visiting. Had a very wholesome Bi bim bap which came with soup and tasty kim chi. Has counter service and plenty of sitting room Very clean all around. Owners were very pleasant, appreciative and courteous.
I really like the army base soup, otherwise not a big fan. I didn't think their jap chae was very good. They do have sweet hot tea which is nice.
Fine place for delicious Korean food. Came here on a Saturday. The staff was very sociable and kind. Prices are fair I would say. Ambience reminds me of Colorado Springs area.
Great place with traditional Korean Food! I like their soup and Bidae Jige the most
Food is okay. Slightly overpriced though
I love this place. I've been to S Korea and this place is super authentic. The service is good and the food is great. All meals are made to order, so it takes a little bit longer to get your food but it's worth it.
One of the few places I go back to when I pass through C-U. Highly recommend the spicy pork.
Best korean restaurant in town
Food came quick, was really affordable and tasted good. Liked the self serve tea/water and how relaxed and no fuss it was.
littl-nill veg options :(
I love A-Ri-Rang. Food is always consistently well made. Owner definitely seems to take the utmost pride in the quality. Food portions are enough to last 2 meals.
Fantastic
There is always good food in there, it taste like house made. The restaurant is small and clean all the times I went. The price is cheap compared to other korean restaurants. Most of the costumers are students so you can expect lines in lunch and dinn3joura. There is a parking lot outside and in the lef side but is public so you have to pay for it. Restrooms are always clen and offer free cold water and hot corn water. You order your food, pay for it and go to pick up.
Great food. Very tasty, and they offer a great variety of dishes. Hot tea is free with order.
Good price and great food, esp. compared to other restaurants off campus. What else to ask for :)
The best Korean
Tofu pot is great

Great food.
Cheap and really delicious Korean food
I've been going here for years, and it has yet to disappoint me. I heavily favor the bulgogi dishes (All of them are great), but everything else I've had is also fantastic. They also offer little side dishes of kimchee veggies, and if you bring them the empty dish, they will refill it for free (I hear this is a sign of a traditional Korean mom-n-pop-type place). It is by far the best Korean food I have ever had, and the portions are pretty great for the price. Definitely worth trying.
Love the food here, the flavor of the Bulgoki is full and sweet. The Bibimbap has fresh ingredients and with the gojuchang sauce is just perfect. The location itself doesnt feel clean but the plates are always perfectly sanitary as well as utensils. It's just the lighting, floor, walls, and tables that make it look like the food could be less quality when in reality it is amazing
Kabi Tang is well-done
Good food and friendly people
Best Korean food in town by far. Casual dining and fair priced.
Great food
Good food, good price
So disgusting about the food sanitation.... hair found inside the kimchi
Food are great. The price is even better. The best Korean food in town. I got 2 meals for under $20
Number 1 and 6 are great!
Servings were huge, but no one in my group left feeling uncomfortably full. Food was delicious, and the people working there were very friendly and helped us figure out an order that everyone would love.
This budae jjigae(stew) is more like kimchijjigae.
Some of the best Korean food
A clean and decent Korean restaurant. Food is quite authentic. Good for solo dining, but not for a quick bite. The price is roughly around 10 dollars after tax.
Good food, not the greatest seating, But the food was really good. Had the beef bulgogi and spicy pork bulgogi and Galbi Soup. Machisayo
There food is pretty good if you know exactly what to order and how to order it, but they tend to make things very bland when you order them normally and while that might be good for some people it really takes away from the flavor of their food when I have tasted them do better with just a little bit of spice. Otherwise a decent place with nice staff.
Love this restaurant! It's personally my favorite Korean restaurant in Champaign.
Always order tofu soup, a comforting dish for winter hard times in grainger.
This place is where you go for a bang for your buck meal. Nothing is worth noting but if you're hungry and you only have a couple dollars, Arirang is the place to go. The portions are good for the price. It isn't nicely decorated but this isn't a place to take your significant other to.
Appearance was a bit sloppy and interior was old, but food taste was good, too, and kitchen cleanly managed was good, too. I also put one of the common saucepans that the master had put around the counter in place. I was very surprised that it would be difficult to manage so cleanly.
Very casual setting, get your own water and chopsticks. Best Korean food I've had outside of Chicago. Try anything and it will be good. My faves are the spicy squid stir-fry, kalbi tang, and the bulgogi. Side dishes vary, but usually there's at least kimchi!
Big portions. Prices from 8 to 10 dollars. Very pleased with bi bim bab and bulgoki.
Free rice refills!
Lots of good food
The owner looks like a good guy. Food is great here.
I go here about 2 times every week. It's probably the most decent Korean restaurants inside campus. What caused me to rate it 2 stars is because of today's occasion: it's early Sunday, I order a dish that contains rice. Some of the rice is rock solid dry cleverly hidden at the bottom. Here's why. Arirang closes on Saturdays. That means they kept the leftover old rice they cooked but didn't sell on Friday night. I just paid $10+ for a dish that uses cooked rice that is 2 days old. Enough said.
